Basic Satin Stitch
Satin stitch is is an essential and easy stitch.

Start in the middle of the shape
and work outward toward each end.

Bring your needle up
on the outside edge of the shapes.
And insert it on the other side.
Repeat the process.

Do not pull the stitches too tight.
Be careful not to twist the thread.

The stitches must be placed close together
vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

This technique is so simple but requires delicacy.
Do not keep this stitch too long.
If your pattern happens to be big, you'd better choose other stitches.

Padded Satin Stitch

Padded satin stitch is a variation of the satin stitch.
When you desire a padded effect, a shapes can
be outlined in stem stitch or other stitches.
And fill the inside of the design area with your chosen stitch.
