Split Stitch
The split stitch looks like the chain stitch.
It is used for outlining and filling.
Make one short stitch.
Split the previous stitch when bringing the thread to the front.
Then insert the needle to the right side.
Continue this procedure.
Split Back Stitch
Do not confuse split stitches with split back stitches.
They are different stitches.
